The presentation was originally given by Chapter Genealogist Edward Elgart, a member of the Washington Crossing Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, at a meeting held at the David Library of the American Revolution in Washington Crossing PA on Tuesday April 21, 2018.

The presentation has been updated by Edward Elgart for a number of workshops over the years. The latest presentation was given for a meeting on May 18th, 2024.
